Memories have always been prevalent in my art work, and I have always been fond of looking back and remembering certain eras in my life. For the “Blue Print” cyanotype series, I wanted to create a body of work that reflects different places that have been significant in my life and that have added to the “blue print” of who I am as an artist.

Being a student at Clemson has made a major impact on my life as an artist and person. For this collection of work I wanted to take plants sourced directly from Clemson’s campus and turn them into prints. Each plant was handpicked and was captured in a cyanotype format to have an exact replica of the original, so I may always have a piece of Clemson with me.

My wish as an artist is to share my fond memories of Clemson and to share a little part of the “blue print” of my life with you.
